The rate advertised above is a comparison rate for a secured personal loan to a Tier 1 borrower. Annual percentage rates range from 8.20% (8.27% p.a. comparison rate) to 23.99% (28.66% p.a. comparison rate). See our Rates and Fees for more information on borrowing rates. An establishment fee applies for most borrowers. Secured personal loan example: for a borrower with excellent credit (Tier 1 borrower), a personal loan of $10,000 over a 3 year loan term, with an interest rate of 8.20% p.a. (comparison rate 8.54% p.a.) and a $545 establishment fee, the monthly repayment would be $314 and the total cost over the life of the loan (including the establishment fee) would be $11,314. SocietyOne personal loans are available for terms of 2, 3, 5 and 7 years. Minimum loan term repayment period is 2 years, maximum loan term repayment period is 7 years.
